Focus and Scope
A peer reviewed journal published by the Institute of Environmental Professionals of Sri Lanka (IEPSL) – provides a high profile vehicle for publication of the most innovative, updated and rigorous research in the field of environment. The journal publishes original research and review articles on environmental studies relevant to Sri Lanka and other tropical regions. The scope of the Journal encompasses the diversity of current research on broad categories of environmental science, including, but not limited to, the following: Climate change, Sustainable technology, Forest and Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Chemistry, Socio-Economics, Biodiversity Conservation and Management, Sustainable Energy, Waste Management and Pollution Control etc.
All articles published with the journal are deposited with Crossref
Publication Frequency
Two issues a year in June and December starting from 2012.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving Policy
This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
